ALP During the Holidays

It's our second year adapting our usual holiday celebrations in order to celebrate safely within the current guidelines. Although we aren’t able to host our annual Christmas party with our whole team, we are continuing some of our new traditions from last year:

Last year, we came up with a “Good Vibe Drive,” where employees digitally submit a “good vibe” from the year to enter a raffle to win a grand prize. This can be anything from a few sentences or pictures to show something positive they experienced in 2021. We share the answers with the whole team to spread positivity, and then the winner is selected through a random draw!

Also, continuing from last year, our President, Shaun, has thoughtfully put together incredible gift bags for our ALP team members to share with their family at home. With help from our customer, Rocco’s Deli, he filled up the bags with lots of delicious treats and a bottle of wine for everyone to enjoy!

Lastly, as we weren’t able to safely collect for a physical food drive at our facility this year, we’re collecting e-transfers and non-physical donations for Backpack Buddies for the second year. This local organization works with schools and social workers to feed children in need across British Columbia.

Although this holiday season looks a little different, we're grateful to be making some new traditions with our team. We can't wait until the day that everyone can celebrate safely together!
