Warehouse Associate / Material Handler

Reporting to the Shipping and Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Associate is responsible for the safe and efficient transport of materials between departments, the organization of the warehouse, and receiving of goods.

Primary Responsibilities for the Warehouse Associate:

  • Operate lift truck or hoist shipments between shipping and receiving platform and warehouse storage area
  • Safely operate forklifts and power jacks to move warehouse materials
  • Deliver items from warehouse to various departments as requested
  • Provide representatives from other departments in the organization warehouse information as requested
  • Sort, count, identify, verify and track materials to maintain accurate warehouse inventory records
  • Examine outgoing shipments and ensure they conform to order specifications
  • Place finished products into cartons, secure, and prepare for shipping
  • Perform regular material warehouse audits to ensure that material is not damaged and maintained neatly throughout the warehouse
  • Perform other related warehouse duties and tasks as required

Qualifications for the Warehouse Associate:

  • Class 5 Drivers License
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to prioritize and coordinate
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to make repetitive movements including bending or squatting
  • Forklift experience (electric and propane) preferred

Hours: Monday to Friday, 2:30pm – 10:30pm
